National Museum of Art   National Museum of Art
  The European Art Gallery, the Romanian Medieval Art Gallery and the Romanian  
  Modern Art Gallery bring together art works exhibited in an attractive, modern manner,
  thus turning a visit to the museum into an enjoyable and instructive way of spending time.

National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC)   National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC)
  Located in a relativily small part of the Palace of Parliament, this museum houses a  
  mixture of arts, displayed in a non-conformist way. Bonus: you can have a look at Bucharest
  from an exterior glass covered elevator, going up the building.

The National History Museum   The National History Museum
  Don’t be fooled by its size because only a small part of it is opened to the public.  
  Here you will see the National treasury which is composed of valuable items from Dacian
  times until the royal period but also a nice collection of stamps and coins.

The History Museum of Bucharest Municipality (Șuțu Palace)   The History Museum of Bucharest Municipality (Șuțu Palace)
  Besides the palace that hosts the museum, you will see exhibits from medieval times

  plans, pictures, paintings, documents, street signs and even a former mayor’s office.

The Botanical Garden   The Botanical Garden
